As our business continues to thrive, we are eager to expand our team by seeking an accomplished Consultant with a background in thermal process technologies and project management to operate from our Stockport office, with the flexibility of hybrid working arrangements.

Qualifications Required:

  • A strong Master's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Chartered Engineer status or actively pursuing it.
  • Relevant professional experience post-academia in sectors such as waste management, energy generation, consultancy, or industrial manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in process plant concept design development, FEED studies, and comprehensive process plant system design.
  • Experience with process simulation tools such as MATLAB, Simulink, HYSYS, Aspen Plus, or equivalent.
  • Capability to prepare and evaluate standard process plant documentation, including heat & mass balances, PFDs, P&IDs, basis of design documents, and process calculations.
  • Previous experience in producing high-quality scientific models, professional technical reports, and other documentation for both external clients and internal purposes.
  • Willingness to travel within the UK, Ireland, and occasionally further afield for construction site monitoring and inspections.
