Position Overview

With a dedicated team of over 165 professionals, we operate from multiple locations, and as our business continues to thrive, we are seeking to expand our workforce by adding a seasoned Consultant with a background in thermal process technologies and project management. This role will be based in our Stockport office, with options for hybrid working.

Key Qualifications:

  • A strong Master's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Chartered Engineer status or actively pursuing it.
  • Relevant professional experience in areas such as waste management, energy generation, consultancy, or industrial manufacturing.
  • Experience in process plant conceptual design, FEED studies, and detailed system design.
  • Proficiency in process simulation tools such as MATLAB, Simulink, HYSYS, Aspen Plus, or similar software.
  • Capability to prepare and review essential process documentation, including heat and mass balances, PFDs, P&IDs, and design basis documents.
  • Prior experience in producing high-quality scientific models and technical reports for both external clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel within the UK, Ireland, and occasionally internationally for site monitoring and inspections.
