**Job Description:**

We are working with a well-established, friendly business based in Maidstone. Due to growth, they are currently seeking a Financial Operations Assistant to join their team full-time and permanently.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Sort and categorize invoices for priority and ease of processing
  • Verify invoices from suppliers to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Investigate missing or damaged items and record details on the internal system
  • Communicate with suppliers and office staff regarding invoice queries and resolve issues
  • Update the status of invoices once processed to keep track of payments
  • Chase outstanding invoice queries and credits
  • Prepare reports on returns, invoice queries, and credit chasing
  • Ensure timely processing of invoices to prevent late payments

**Requirements:**

  • Previous experience in a finance or accounting role
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, busy team environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and proficiency in Excel

**Working Hours:** Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm (alternative hours available)
