Role Summary:

We are in search of a dedicated and detail-oriented Research and Conference Coordinator to become a vital part of our Editorial team. This diverse position involves assisting in the organization of conferences addressing significant policy matters relevant to Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, and Ireland, aimed at advancing discussions for legislators, governmental bodies, regulators, and stakeholders engaged in these critical topics.

You will collaborate with various departments within our organization, showcasing diplomacy, sensitivity, and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes promptly.

Upcoming and recent conferences will cover topics such as: AI regulation, the children's care system, innovations in research, heat networks, housing issues, mental health services, and climate adaptation strategies.

Key Duties:

  • Conducting research on relevant issues, emerging trends, potential speakers, and contacts within the policy domain
  • Ensuring conferences remain current, pertinent, and inclusive, leaving no interested parties out of vital discussions
  • Preparing agendas, invitations for delegates and speakers, and content for our website
  • Coordinating with speakers and Parliamentary chairs
  • Participating in and facilitating the seamless execution of our seminars and receptions, both online and in various locations across the UK
