Role Summary:

We are in search of a dedicated and detail-oriented Research and Conference Coordinator to become a vital part of our Editorial team. This diverse position involves assisting in the organization of conferences that address critical topics in education policy, including early childhood education, school systems, and children's services. These conferences aim to advance discussions among legislators, government officials, regulators, and stakeholders on significant issues.

You will collaborate with various departments within our organization, showcasing your ability to navigate complex situations with diplomacy and sensitivity while ensuring timely and high-quality outcomes.

Upcoming and recent conferences will cover themes such as initial teacher training, alternative educational provisions, physical education for youth, mental health in children, online safety, early childhood education, school inspections, and reforms in level 3 qualifications.

Key Duties:

  • Conducting research on relevant issues, emerging trends, potential speakers, and contacts within the policy sector
  • Ensuring that conferences remain current, relevant, and inclusive, leaving no stakeholders out of critical discussions
  • Preparing agendas, invitations for delegates and speakers, and content for our website
  • Coordinating with speakers and Parliamentary chairs
  • Participating in and facilitating the seamless execution of our seminars and receptions, both online and in various locations across the UK
