Community Fundraising and Partnerships Officer

We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive Community Fundraising and Partnerships Officer to join our team at FORWARD. As a key member of our Business Development and Strategy team, you will play a crucial role in securing funding to support our ambitious growth strategy.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy to secure grants from trusts and foundations.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including trusts, foundations, and corporate partners.
- Research and identify new funding opportunities to support our growth strategy.
- Collaborate with the Head of Business Development and Strategy to develop and implement a comprehensive business plan.
- Provide regular updates and reports to the senior leadership team on fundraising progress and opportunities.
- Proven experience in fundraising, preferably in a charity or non-profit organization.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and pursue new funding opportunities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of motivation and self-discipline.
- Knowledge of the charity sector and fundraising best practices.
