This position represents an interim engagement lasting approximately 2-3 months, with the potential for extension, aimed at assisting an organization during a significant growth phase and a TUPE transfer initiative.

This role is ideal for a seasoned HR professional with a background in TUPE consultation, ready to step in at short notice and contribute during a transformative period.

Client Overview

Our client is a publicly funded Social Care organization.

This role will concentrate on guiding the organization and its personnel through a growth phase by overseeing the TUPE process and providing additional advisory support as needed.

Key Responsibilities of the Interim HR TUPE Consultant:
  • Oversee the comprehensive management of the TUPE transfer process, ensuring adherence to all legal standards and best practices.
  • Facilitate clear communication and consultation with employees, Trade Unions, and other relevant parties throughout the TUPE process.
  • Conduct detailed due diligence to uncover potential risks and issues related to employment terms, conditions, and liabilities.
  • Offer expert guidance to HR, legal teams, and senior management regarding TUPE implications, including redundancy, restructuring, and modifications to terms and conditions.
  • Prepare and review all TUPE-related documentation, such as employee liability information (ELI), consultation records, and transfer agreements.
  • Ensure compliance of all TUPE activities with UK employment legislation and internal policies. Maintain precise records and generate regular reports on TUPE activities and outcomes.
  • Assist the team with any additional advisory responsibilities.
Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate for the Interim HR TUPE Consultant role will possess the following qualifications:

  • Experienced HR Contractor with a track record of success in interim roles.
  • Proven experience in TUPE projects, ideally involving around 100 staff or more.
  • Exposure to employee relations case management.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate discretion.
  • High level of accuracy and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Adaptable approach to workload in a dynamic environment.
  • Available to start immediately or on short notice.
