Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal DSP Software Engineer to join our team at European Tech Recruit. As a key member of our semiconductor division, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and integrating DSP audio filters and algorithms, as well as DSP embedded solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop high-quality DSP audio filters and algorithms
  • Integrate and evaluate DSP embedded solutions
  • Deliver code and tests within agreed timelines
  • Maintain thorough technical documentation
  • Manage code maintenance and reuse
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of DSP, MCU, IC, and audio codec architectures
  • Proficiency in embedded architectures and real-time embedded software
  • Skilled in real-time embedded C/C++ programming and DSP algorithm development
  • Effective problem-solving and debugging capabilities
  • Competence in Python and/or MATLAB
  • Knowledge of fixed-point implementation and software development workflows
  • Ability to report bugs using issue-tracking tools
  • Experience working under tight schedules and meeting deadlines
  • Strong communication skills for a multi-site and multicultural environment
Desirable Qualifications
  • Experience with audio, digital filtering, and portable audio applications
  • Background in optimizing DSP solutions for low footprint, low latency, and low power
  • Previous team or technical leadership experience
  • Familiarity with continuous integration tools
  • Experience using SystemC
