Key Responsibilities- Design and develop DSP audio filters and algorithms
- Integrate and verify DSP embedded solutions
- Deliver high-quality designs and code within agreed timescales
- Develop and maintain high-quality tests
- Ensure customer acceptance of Renesas solutions
- Drive and regulate activities to meet timescales and goals
- Develop and maintain technical documentation
- Reduce code maintenance and increase code reuse
- Excellent knowledge of DSP, MCU, IC, and audio codec architectures
- Excellent knowledge of embedded architectures and real-time embedded software
- Fluent in real-time embedded C/C++ programming with in-depth knowledge of DSP algorithm development
- Good problem-solving and debugging skills
- Good competency in Python and/or MATLAB
- Good knowledge and understanding of fixed-point implementation
- Good knowledge of software development workflows and working methodologies
- Ability to work to tight schedules and deadlines
- Concise and proactive communication skills
- Good knowledge and experience in audio, digital filtering, and portable audio applications
- Good experience in optimizing DSP solutions for low footprint, low latency, and low power applications
- Previous team leading or technical leading experience
- Familiarity with CI tools such as Jenkins
- Experience using SystemC
