Exciting Opportunity for a Key Account Manager

Reed Sales & Marketing is thrilled to be partnering with a well-established commercial contractor to find a highly skilled Key Account Manager.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced account manager with a background in insulation and heating to take their career to the next level and increase their earning potential.

Key Benefits:

  • Competitive salary: £35,000 to £45,000
  • Bonus: 10% of company profits
  • Monday to Friday, 38.5 hours
  • 25 days' holiday + bank holidays
  • Company pension

Responsibilities:

  • Manage insulation and trace heating installation projects from conception to completion
  • Develop new business opportunities
  • Assess requirements against specifications from drawings or site surveys
  • Prepare and submit quotations
  • Liaise and develop good relationships with clients
  • Manage site installation engineers to ensure quality and timely completion of projects
  • Report to the Managing Director on project progress
  • Ensure required documentation is prepared in accordance with company procedures
  • Travel predominantly within the Yorkshire and Midlands regions, with occasional overnight stays
  • Ability to take site measurements and convert them into technical drawings
  • Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Essential experience within the thermal insulation industry
  • Recent experience in a management or supervisory role is required
