We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled ANPR Tech Support Engineer to join our team at Horizon Parking Ltd. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for the maintenance and support of our ANPR equipment and systems.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and maintain existing ANPR equipment, tablets, and handheld devices.
- Build, test, and commission enforcement equipment (camera-based technology).
- Fault finding and investigation.
- Support the company's IT Service Provider to ensure a smooth running of the company's IT systems.
- Maintenance of the company's IT asset register.
- Management of stock, receipting of spares returns, processing of Supplier RMAs, carrying out stock checks, and ensuring that the department is well-equipped to meet operational demands.
- Develop a reporting process and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Work closely with other stakeholders to improve capture rates and revenue.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems.
- Knowledge of wireless technology.
- Knowledge of a CRM ticketing system.
- Practical experience working with PC hardware and software; fault finding, diagnosing, and repairing is desirable.
- Database troubleshooting experience.
- Proven experience in a support role that entails multiple technologies is desirable.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Strong communication skills (written, face-to-face, and by phone).
- Ability to learn supporting Web-based technology.
- £25,000 per annum.
