Job Summary:

Clarion Housing is seeking a skilled and customer-focused Visiting Scheme Manager to oversee the maintenance and upkeep of our properties at Sandringham Court in Bournemouth. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the well-being and independence of our residents, while also managing the general maintenance of the building and its communal areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and prioritize your own workload to ensure the smooth operation of the scheme
  • Coordinate and oversee building maintenance, repairs, and improvements, including organizing contractors and managing budgets
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with residents, contractors, and clients, providing excellent customer service and support
  • Act as the first point of contact for resident complaints, leasehold enquires, and property alterations, providing advice and empathy
  • Use IT applications such as Outlook and Word to manage schemes and communicate with stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds
  • Good understanding of building maintenance and management principles
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach
  • Basic IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Eligibility to work in the UK and reside in England or Wales
