About the Role:
We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Commercial Underwriter - Mid Market. As a key member of our underwriting team, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our customers and brokers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the team of underwriters with administrative duties and data entry for existing and new business.
- Assist colleagues with broker visits and develop strong relationships with brokers across the region.
- Gain experience and progress in the role, learning aspects of property, casualty, and motor underwriting.
- Contribute to the underwriting profit and loss of the team and region.
Requirements:
- Enthusiasm to learn new skills quickly and a proactive approach to delivering quality and service.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills to manage your own workload within a regulatory environment.
- Data analysis and underwriting activity, with the ability to operate within agreed guidelines and authority levels.
What We Offer:
