About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Underwriter to join our team at Paragon Bank. As a Commercial Underwriter, you will play a crucial role in supporting the intermediary sales channel and helping our customers achieve their business goals.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Build strong relationships with our introductory sources to help them and SME Lending support UK SMEs.
  2. Assess and evaluate commercial lending applications, ensuring that our customers receive the best possible solutions for their business needs.
  3. Work closely with our sales team to identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to drive growth.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Strong commercial lending experience in both secured and unsecured lending.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of funding a wide range of assets and lending structures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with our customers and stakeholders.
