About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Commercial Lines Underwriter. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wishes to progress with a career in commercial underwriting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the team of underwriters with administrative duties and data entry for existing and new business.
  • Assist with the processing of commercial insurance applications and policy renewals.
  • Develop skills and knowledge in property, casualty, and motor underwriting.
  • Build professional relationships with brokers and contribute to the underwriting profit and loss of the team and region.
Requirements
  • Enthusiasm to learn new skills quickly and the desire to be proactive with the delivery of quality and service.
  • Organisational skills to manage your own workload within a regulatory environment.
  • Data analysis and underwriting activity, ability to operate within agreed guidelines and authority levels.
