We are partnering with a world-leading insurance company to find a talented Development Underwriter for its highly successful Financial Lines team.
This company is renowned for providing innovative insurance solutions and uses its expertise to insure complex risks. The business is growing rapidly, and this new role has been created to help achieve the growth targets for its Financial Lines proposition.
As a Development Underwriter, you will be responsible for sourcing new business opportunities within your region, underwriting Professional and Management risks, and identifying scheme opportunities. You will also attend networking events and provide input to the Head of Financial Lines on broker activity and new business production.
Key requirements include a successful track record of underwriting Professional Indemnity and Directors and Officers insurance. You will be rewarded with an attractive basic salary, plus a lucrative bonus scheme and impressive corporate benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Underwrite individual risks and identify scheme opportunities
- Attend networking events and develop relationships with brokers
- Provide input to the Head of Financial Lines on broker activity and new business production
Requirements:
- Successful track record of underwriting Professional Indemnity and Directors and Officers insurance
- Strong desire to be highly visible to brokers and develop new business opportunities
