About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Commercial Underwriter - Mid Market. As a key member of our underwriting team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers and brokers, while also supporting the growth and development of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the team of underwriters with administrative duties and data entry for existing and new business
  • Assist colleagues with broker visits and provide excellent customer service
  • Develop skills and knowledge in property, casualty, and motor underwriting
  • Contribute to the underwriting profit and loss of the team and region
Requirements
  • Enthusiasm to learn new skills quickly and a proactive approach to delivering quality and service
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Data analysis and underwriting activity, with the ability to operate within agreed guidelines and authority levels
