We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated nurse to join our team in the Emergency Department. As an Accident and Emergency Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Main Responsibilities:- Manage a cohort of patients within the Emergency Department, ensuring their safety and quality of care.
- Work closely with the Silver Registered Nurse and Band 7 nurse to deliver safe, evidence-based, and effective care.
- Liaise with the wider Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) to maintain patient safety.
- Support and work with colleagues during shifts to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Participate in discussions and projects that benefit the team, patients, and department as a whole.
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
- Clinical skills required for Emergency Nursing.
- Evidence of post-registration study.
- Confidence in managing your own cohort of patients.
- Ability to evaluate care delivered and plan ahead.
- Experience of working in an emergency/urgent care setting.
- 6 months post-registration experience in an acute setting.
