Job Description

Impression Recruitment Limited is seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Assistant to join their team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a key member of the finance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of financial processes and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage Sales Ledger Processes: Ensure sales invoices are raised and processed accurately and efficiently.
  • Manage Purchase Ledger Processes: Maintain internal purchase records and ensure timely payment of invoices.
  • Support Accounts Preparation: Assist the management accountant with accounts preparation duties, including financial reporting and analysis.
  • Handle Billing Queries: Effectively and efficiently deal with any billing queries from customers.
  • Administer Finance Data: Collect and administer finance data from the internal system, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Conduct Customer Credit Checks: Conduct customer credit checks and provide approval/denial feedback.
  • Chase Overdue Invoices: Chase overdue customer invoices and ensure timely payment.
  • Support Payroll Team: Provide ad-hoc support to the payroll team as required.
  • Produce Financial Reports: Produce financial reports for internal stakeholders as required.
Requirements:
  • Previous Finance Experience: Previous experience of working in a finance team is essential.
  • Finance and IT Systems: Good ability with finance and IT systems, including data accuracy and effectiveness.
  • Workload Prioritization: Ability to prioritize workloads and meet deadlines.
  • Communication Skills: High level communication skills, including written and verbal communication.

Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 per annum

Working Hours: 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday with one hour paid lunch break
