School Catering Supervisor

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Catering Supervisor to join our team at Chartwells - Schools. As a Catering Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our catering services, maintaining high standards of quality and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise a team of catering staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food preparation.
- Ensure all deliveries are checked and stored promptly and correctly, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Assist with weekly bookwork, including ordering stock and managing inventory levels.
- Produce weekly rotas, following manager's guidelines, to ensure efficient staffing and scheduling.
- Delegating tasks and responsibilities to team members, promoting a positive and proactive work environment.
- Comply with Food Handling & Hygiene standards, ensuring a safe and healthy working environment.
- Comply with Health & Safety regulations, reporting any incidents or concerns to management.
- Previous experience supervising frontline teams within a similar environment.
- Good communication skills, with a focus on excellent customer service.
- Team player with a can-do attitude, able to work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
