About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Catering Supervisor to join our team at Chartwells - Schools. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of our catering services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise a team of catering staff to maintain high standards of quality and service
  • Ensure all deliveries are checked and stored promptly and correctly
  • Assist with weekly bookwork and other duties as necessary
  • Produce weekly rotas following manager's guidelines
  • Place orders for stock to maintain correct stock levels
  • Delegating where necessary and ensuring the team are proactive at all times
  • Comply with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
  • Comply with Health & Safety regulations
Requirements
  • Previous experience supervising frontline teams within a similar environment
  • Good communication skills with a focus on great Customer Service
  • Team player and can-do attitude
  • Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining a positive attitude
