About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled EUC Desktop Support Specialist to join our team at Iron Systems. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing top-notch support for our desktop devices, ensuring that our employees have the tools they need to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage desktop devices, including hardware, software, and connectivity, to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Provide expert-level support for IMAC and desk-side services, including hardware and software troubleshooting and repair.
  • Manage hard and soft break-fix services for laptops and desktops, ensuring that all devices are functioning properly and efficiently.
  • Support and maintain the configuration and installation of desktop devices, including patch updates, hardware replacements, and remote management using industry-standard tools.
  • Analyze service desk calls and incident data to identify potential user training requirements and automation opportunities.
  • Ensure that each desktop device is installed with the appropriate desktop image and that all security profiles and anti-virus software are up-to-date and compliant with security requirements.
  • Provide VIP support for desk-side issues and serve as the primary point of contact for all IT-related issues at our sites.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience with Windows 7 operating system and a strong understanding of desktop support principles.
  • Knowledge of Active Directory and smart hands and feet support is a plus.
  • Experience with ServiceNow or similar service management tools is highly desirable.
  • Expertise in EUC tools, remote support tools, MS Office, and Outlook is essential.
  • Familiarity with Lync, VPN, and mobile device support is a plus.
  • A strong understanding of ITIL processes, including incident, change, problem, and service request management, is required.
  • A degree in electronics or a related field is required; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
