Position Overview

We are excited to announce an opportunity within our Structural Analysis Team for the role of Stress Engineer. This position is essential to support our innovative projects and enhance our engineering capabilities.

Your primary responsibility will be to conduct thorough structural evaluations of various components and assemblies, both metallic and composite. Utilizing finite element analysis (FEA) and manual calculations, you will strive to identify the most efficient solutions in terms of mass and performance.

The ideal candidate will hold an Engineering Degree with a minimum classification of 2:1 and should have relevant experience in a structural analysis capacity, preferably within the automotive sector or a related industry. A solid understanding of composite and metallic material analysis, combined with proficiency in FEA techniques and hand calculations, is crucial. Familiarity with industry-standard software such as Altair HyperWorks and Catia V5/V6 is expected.

Additional experience in broader analytical concepts, including design optimization and non-linear analysis methods, will be advantageous.

Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with a composed and thoughtful approach to design and development, especially in high-pressure situations.
