About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Analysis Specialist to join our team at Aston Martin F1 Team. As a key member of our Structural Analysis Team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the structural integrity of our F1 car.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform structural analysis of components and assemblies using finite element methods and hand calculations to optimize mass efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver optimum solutions to the track.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of analysis of composites and metallic materials using a mixture of FEA and hand calculations.
  • Utilize industry-standard software such as Altair HyperWorks and Catia V5/V6 to support analysis projects.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest analysis concepts, including design optimization and non-linear analyses.

Requirements:

  • Engineering Degree (min 2:1 grade) in a relevant field.
  • Experience working within a structural analysis team, preferably in the Automotive or similar field.
  • Strong working knowledge of Altair HyperWorks and Catia V5/V6 (or similar industry-standard software).
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Calm and considered approach to design & development in pressurized environments.
