Position Overview

We are excited to announce a unique opportunity within our Structural Analysis Team as a Stress Engineer. This role is pivotal in ensuring the structural integrity of our components and assemblies, which include both metallic and composite materials.

Your primary responsibility will involve conducting structural analysis through finite element methods and manual calculations. This analysis is crucial for identifying the most efficient mass solutions, thereby supporting our design team in achieving optimal results.

The ideal candidate will hold an Engineering Degree with a minimum 2:1 classification and possess relevant experience in a structural analysis environment, preferably within the automotive sector or a related field. A solid grasp of composite and metallic material analysis, utilizing both FEA and manual techniques, is essential. Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Altair HyperWorks and Catia V5/V6 is expected.

Additional experience in broader analysis concepts, including design optimization and non-linear analyses, will be advantageous.

Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must, along with a composed and thoughtful approach to design and development in high-pressure situations.

This role offers a chance to contribute significantly to the structural integrity of our F1 car while exploring the limits of material capabilities and engineering techniques, all within a demanding timeline.
