Role Summary

We are currently looking for an Environmental Compliance Specialist to assist in managing and advancing the efforts of the environmental compliance team. This role will involve supporting and managing existing client relationships. While primarily office-based, the position will require site visits and participation in meetings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the multidisciplinary efforts of the team and oversee the preparation of project work.
  • Engage with current clients to ensure their needs are met.
  • Prepare estimates and invoices, and assist in project management.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential for teamwork and client engagement.
  • Excellent time management and organizational abilities to ensure timely and budget-compliant project completion.
  • Ability to take ownership of project delivery, demonstrating initiative and the capacity to work independently.
  • Strong written communication skills.

Essential Criteria

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Science, Geography, or Civil Engineering.
  • Proficient in IT, particularly with MS Word and Excel.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of compliance processes and the interaction of regulatory frameworks.
  • Comprehensive understanding of environmental risk assessment tools, such as LandSim / H1.
  • Familiarity with Environmental Management Systems (EMS) and Quality Management Systems (QMS).

Desirable Attributes

  • Relevant advanced degree.
