Role Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Quality Control Specialist to enhance our laboratory team. This position involves the meticulous processing of samples using advanced analytical instruments, ensuring that we meet our turnaround times while upholding the highest standards of data quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and digest samples for thorough analysis.
- Conduct Quality Control assessments in line with ISO 17025:2017 standards, addressing any non-conformities promptly.
- Analyze data and provide comprehensive reports to the Operations Manager.
- Safely handle chemicals and maintain a strong awareness of laboratory safety protocols.
- Expand your knowledge of the properties of metals and minerals.
Health and Safety Compliance:
Adhere to all Health and Safety regulations as outlined in training, policies, and risk assessments. It is crucial to report any health and safety concerns or incidents to your supervisor without delay.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's Degree in a scientific discipline, preferably in Analytical Chemistry.
- A minimum of two years of experience in an ICP laboratory, including equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
