**Job Title:** Control Panel/Equipment Test Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Test Equipment Engineer to join our team in the field of industrial control panels. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical and instrumentation systems testing and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out inspection, testing, and commissioning of electrical and instrumentation panels/systems in-house and on-site as required.
  • Ensure all work is completed to specification and deadlines.
  • Assist in the building and wiring of control panels when required.
  • Attend sites to complete modifications to existing/new panels when required.

Requirements:

  • City & Guilds 2391 Test & Inspection.
  • City & Guilds 2382 18th Edition.
  • Time served electrician/instrument technician.
  • Experience of testing industrial control panels, on-site installation work, commissioning of systems, instrumentation, and control panel wiring.
  • Knowledge and understanding of 3-phase systems, MCC control panels, PLC systems, and schematics drawings.
