Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Sustainability Specialist to contribute to the management of and develop the work of our environmental permitting team. The successful candidate will support and manage existing clients, with a focus on office-based work that may involve site visits and attendance at meetings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the team's multidisciplinary work and manage the preparation of work.
  • Engage with existing clients to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Prepare quotes and invoices, support the management of projects, and ensure timely delivery.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills necessary to work as part of a team and to engage with clients and regulators.
  • Excellent time and organisational skills allowing completion of work to time and budget.
  • Take responsibility for project delivery, use initiative, and work without supervision.
  • Excellent written skills, with the ability to produce high-quality reports and documents.
Essential Qualifications
  • First degree in a relevant Science or Geography or Civil Engineering.
  • Good IT skills, especially MS Word and Excel.
  • A minimum 5 years relevant experience in environmental permitting and compliance.
  • Excellent knowledge of permitting and how permitting and other regulatory frameworks interact.
  • Detailed understanding of environmental risk assessment tools, such as LandSim / H1.
  • Good knowledge of EMS and QMS.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Relevant higher degree.
