Ayesa - UK and Ireland is seeking a highly skilled Environmental Consultant - Permitting to join our team. As a key member of our environmental permitting team, you will be responsible for managing and developing our work, supporting existing clients, and contributing to the team's multidisciplinary projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the preparation of work and contribute to the team's multidisciplinary projects.
- Engage with existing clients and develop strong relationships.
- Prepare quotes and invoices, and support the management of projects.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and regulators.
- Excellent time and organisational skills to complete work to time and budget.
- Take responsibility for project delivery, use initiative, and work independently.
- Excellent written skills to produce high-quality reports and documents.
Essential Qualifications:
- First degree in a relevant Science, Geography, or Civil Engineering discipline.
- Good IT skills, particularly in MS Word and Excel.
- A minimum of 5 years' relevant experience in environmental permitting and compliance.
- Excellent knowledge of permitting and regulatory frameworks.
- Detailed understanding of environmental risk assessment tools, such as LandSim and H1.
- Good knowledge of Environmental Management Systems (EMS) and Quality Management Systems (QMS).
Desirable Qualifications:
- Relevant higher degree in a related field.
