About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineering Manager to join our team at BAE Systems. As a key member of our Systems Integration Team, you will play a critical role in delivering complex engineering projects from concept to delivery.

As a Systems Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers and stakeholders, interfacing with customers, and influencing a diverse community of engineers. You will also have the opportunity to work closely with other Engineering Leads to propose, develop, and deliver engineering products and solutions that meet expected standards and customer needs.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead a team of engineers and stakeholders to deliver complex engineering projects
  2. Interface with customers to understand their requirements and keep them involved during product development
  3. Influence a diverse community of engineers to ensure effective collaboration and communication
  4. Work closely with other Engineering Leads to propose, develop, and deliver engineering products and solutions
  5. Manage and develop engineering products and solutions that meet expected standards and customer needs
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a degree in a STEM discipline or equivalent experience in an engineering integration environment. You will also need to have experience of Model Based Engineering approaches and the supporting methods and toolsets, as well as evidence-based experience of management responsibilities, managing teams and senior stakeholders.

You will also need to be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Products and have good communication skills across all levels of an organisation. Self-starter and pro-active, you will also be able to work effectively in a team.
