About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineering Manager to join our team at BAE Systems. As a key member of our engineering community, you will play a leading role in interfacing with customers, understanding their requirements, and ensuring their involvement throughout product development.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead the development of engineering products and solutions that meet customer needs and expected standards.
  2. Manage a team of engineers and senior stakeholders, ensuring effective collaboration and communication across the business.
  3. Work closely with other Engineering Leads to propose, develop, and deliver engineering products and solutions.
  4. Develop and maintain relationships with customers, understanding their requirements and ensuring their involvement throughout product development.
Requirements
  1. Degree educated in a STEM discipline or HND/HNC with sound experience of the Engineering Lifecycle.
  2. Evidence-based experience in an engineering integration environment, preferably in the Aerospace, Automotive, Rail, or Nuclear Industries.
  3. Proficient in Model-Based Engineering approaches and supporting methods and toolsets, including Teamcenter PLM, DOORs, CAMEO, MATLAB, and ANSYS.
  4. Excellent communication skills across all levels of an organisation.
  5. Self-starter with the ability to work effectively in a team.
