Job Title: Senior Systems Engineer - Design Assurance
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our team at BAE Systems. As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring technical activities are performed in accordance with engineering procedures and that appropriate levels of internal and independent governance are applied.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and govern engineering standards and processes to demonstrate SQEP and compliance.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and coaching to other engineers.
- Support AVC external reviews.
- Deputise for the Principal Engineer when necessary and as part of personal development.
Requirements:
- Degree-level qualification in a relevant STEM subject (Engineering/Physics/Maths/Science).
- Engineering lifecycle experience/exposure.
- Experience of working on complex programmes.
- Understanding of relevant engineering standards, including safety and environmental regulations.
