Role Overview:
As the Lead Operations Coordinator, you will manage the daily functions of the Primary Network Team, working closely with key partners, including Ocado Retail, third-party logistics (3PL) partners, Supply Chain Teams, and broader Ocado Logistics Teams, to meet top industry performance indicators. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the network's overall success and sustainable growth while continuously pursuing innovative enhancements. This position is well-suited for individuals with experience in Primary Networks, a mindset geared towards continuous improvement, and strong skills in stakeholder relationship management and team leadership.
Your Responsibilities:
You will lead a team of Account Managers and Primary Coordinators, guiding them in achieving performance targets and objectives. The role includes conducting individual team meetings, spearheading projects to facilitate business transformation, and participating in stakeholder discussions to enhance the Primary team’s effectiveness. You will be tasked with cultivating robust relationships with 3PLs and other supply chain teams, identifying process improvement opportunities, and communicating successes throughout the organization. Additionally, you will manage risks and challenges, promote effective collaboration, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Your responsibilities will also encompass talent development and contributing to broader business initiatives.
Your Profile:
You MUST possess proven experience in supply chain management or primary logistics operations. You are an exceptional communicator with strong planning and organizational abilities, capable of thriving in a KPI-driven environment. You have demonstrated success in managing both direct and indirect reports, with proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Your analytical skills and technical aptitude enable you to interpret numerical data effectively. You excel at building constructive relationships across the organization and with external stakeholders, positively influencing outcomes. As a proactive team player, you readily share knowledge and integrate well within diverse teams. You are a confident decision-maker, able to work independently, and excel under pressure while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines. Your leadership capabilities are evident in guiding teams through change and growth, fostering development, and driving continuous improvement. With a strong focus on customer satisfaction, you consistently strive to enhance the customer experience.
