Transport Operations Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled Transport Operations Coordinator to join our team at Yodel. As a key member of our Transport team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our delivery schedules.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and manage planned schedules for our Transport team, escalating any issues to ensure we operate within agreed service levels.
- Utilize our Transport Systems to assist with trailer allocation and ensure efficient use of resources.
- Monitor working time directives and support the review and reporting of driving infringements.
- Verify the arrival and departure of our vehicles to ensure timely departures and meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Perform administrative tasks, including maintaining accurate records for our drivers, such as driving license expiry dates and training records.
- Previous experience in an Operator or Admin role, preferably in a fast-paced office environment.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage workload effectively.
- Confidence in working with various IT Systems, particularly data in Excel.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with drivers and managers.
- Knowledge of driver's hours and working time regulations is desirable, but not essential, as training will be provided.
