Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Transport Operations Coordinator to join our team at Yodel. As a key member of our Transport team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our delivery schedules.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and manage delivery schedules to ensure timely and efficient transportation of goods.
  • Collaborate with the Shift Manager to identify and resolve any issues that may impact delivery schedules.
  • Utilize our Transport Systems to allocate trailers and manage driver records.
  • Ensure compliance with working time directives and report any driving infringements.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including updating driver records and maintaining accurate records of vehicle arrivals and departures.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Experience in an Operator or Admin role, preferably in a fast-paced office environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage workload.
  • Confidence in working with various IT Systems, particularly data in Excel.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with drivers and managers.
  • Knowledge of driver's hours and working time regulations is desirable but not essential, as we will provide training.
