Transport Operations Manager

Yodel is seeking a skilled Transport Team Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Transport Admin Office in Hatfield. In this role, you will be responsible for managing administrative processes, driver schedules, and vehicle management to ensure compliance with driving legislations and timely trailer deliveries.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Transport Team Manager, you will:
- Manage administrative support, ensuring accurate tracking of driver hours and absence, and providing adequate cover.
- Ensure compliance with the scheduling system and communicate effectively with drivers to guarantee timely departures.
- Deliver operational and customer service key performance indicators, driving continuous improvement.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Experience in a similar transport sector role, preferably in a fast-paced office environment.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with drivers and managers.
- A good understanding of driving legislation, including operators licensing and WTD, and a CPC (desirable but not essential).
