Job Title: Senior Battery Test Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Battery Test Engineer to join our team at Element Materials Technology. As a Senior Battery Test Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the development of new battery testing services and expanding our business in the battery testing market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the development of new battery testing services and technologies
  • Conduct on-site testing of customer-provided products based on provided standards or specifications
  • Provide technical and engineering leadership to support the development of new test setups for custom battery testing requests
  • Communicate project status and test results to customers, commercial team members, and management throughout testing
  • Assist in the professional development, upskilling, and training of novice technicians and other engineers within the local laboratories
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a science, engineering, or testing-related field, preferably with a focus on electrical, electrochemical, or mechanical engineering
  • Knowledge of safely testing cells, batteries, modules, EV packs, and/or Electrical Energy Storage Systems is essential
  • Experience using various software or similar programs for EV battery testing is preferred
  • Working knowledge of laboratory safety, assessments, and safety system implementation and quality management systems is essential
