Battery Development Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Battery Development Specialist to join our team at Element Materials Technology. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in supporting the expansion of our battery testing business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support internal stakeholders to develop and implement new battery testing services
- Conduct on-site testing of customer-provided products, including design validation, test setup, and script writing
- Provide technical leadership and support for the development of new technologies and test setups
- Communicate project status and test results to customers, commercial teams, and management
- Assist in the professional development and upskilling of novice technicians and engineers
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science or Engineering degree in a relevant field (electrical, electrochemical, or mechanical engineering)
- Knowledge of safely testing cells, batteries, modules, EV packs, and Electrical Energy Storage Systems
- Experience using software for EV battery testing and laboratory safety
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office
