As a Battery Assembly Quality Assurance Specialist at Vertical Aerospace, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the rigorous standards we set are met and surpassed within our battery manufacturing facility. You will collaborate with the Energy Storage team on the creation of documented information and controlling processes to support working activities. Your strong working knowledge of electrical systems, preferably with hazardous voltage experience, will be highly advantageous. You will report directly to the Head of Quality and be a key member of the Battery team, supporting the continued development of our in-house expertise and capabilities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing control plans and supporting inspection procedures in accordance with APQP requirements
  • Collaborating with the Energy Storage team on the creation of documented information
  • Controlling processes to support working activities, such as manufacturing processes and SOPs

What success will look like for you as a Battery Assembly Quality Assurance Specialist?

You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our battery manufacturing facility and contributing to the development of our in-house expertise and capabilities. You will work closely with the Energy Storage team to create documented information and control processes to support working activities. Your strong working knowledge of electrical systems and experience with hazardous voltage will be highly advantageous.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in quality assurance/control
  • Around 5 years working within a defined quality management system
  • Strong working knowledge of electrical systems, preferably with hazardous voltage experience
