Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Chief of Staff to join our executive team at Legatics, a leading LegalTech scale-up. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of our strategy, working closely with our CEO and other senior leaders.

About the Role

The Chief of Staff will be responsible for:

  • Strategic Planning and Execution
    • Coordinate with the CEO to develop and implement our company strategy and OKRs.
    • Manage the quarterly OKR planning process and ensure delivery across the business.
    • Coordinate cross-functional projects and ensure team alignment.
  • Measurement and Performance
    • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) aligned with our strategic objectives.
    • Ensure KPIs are effectively tracked and reported using appropriate systems.
  • Executive Support
    • Manage leadership meeting agendas and off-sites.
    • Coordinate the delivery of strategic programs.
    • Prepare monthly KPI packs and reporting information for the executive team and board.
  • Finance and Operations
    • Lead our annual budgeting process and advise on financial performance.
    • Take responsibility for financial reporting, including management accounts and financial analyses.
    • Monitor and manage cash flow and cost controls.
  • Culture and Leadership
    • Drive a culture of rapid delivery and innovation within the business.
    • Ensure all team members embody startup principles, including bias towards action and ownership.
    • Champion organization and project management best practices.

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Experience in finance functions and strategic planning.
  • Tons of energy, drive, and enthusiasm to drive our company forward.
  • Embodiment of a rapid delivery and startup culture.
  • Prior experience working in a SaaS startup or scale-up.
  • Experience in project managing delivery to achieve strategic goals.
  • Excellent communication and cross-team coordination skills.
