Position Overview

The ICT Support Intern will play a crucial role in providing operational assistance and administration related to the utilization of ICT systems and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the operational support and management of processes related to ICT systems.
  • Maintain and update asset databases, ensuring accurate tracking and management of resources.
  • Support the ICT Manager in various activities and contribute to central ICT projects as needed.

Scope of Work

  • Provide support to CNH Industrial operations across multiple sites, catering to approximately 800 PC users.
  • Manage telecommunication services, including 600 mobile devices and 100 mobile broadband units.

Daily Operational Duties

  • Oversee daily operations related to mobile telephony and broadband services for field personnel.
  • Maintain both local and corporate ICT asset databases.
  • Conduct analysis and prepare plans for ongoing PC refresh initiatives.
  • Review telecom invoices, address discrepancies with suppliers, and manage cost allocations.
  • Engage with the CNH Industrial user community to provide support, training, and problem resolution.
  • Coordinate with ICT suppliers to ensure timely service delivery and monitor service agreements.
  • Assist in ICT operational management activities as required.
  • Support various ad-hoc projects as necessary.

Server Management

  • Implement updates and patches as needed.
  • Manage user access to server resources and services.
  • Oversee security measures, auditing, and server space allocation.
  • Monitor scheduled processes and backups, defining disaster recovery strategies.

Application Support

  • Monitor application status, troubleshoot issues, and liaise with suppliers for resolutions.
  • Collaborate with application maintenance teams to implement changes and resolve problems.
  • Facilitate user access to local systems.

Project Support

  • Collaborate with ICT colleagues and stakeholders to define project deliverables and scope.
  • Resolve issues related to project changes and ongoing developments.
  • Provide communication and consultancy to users and management.
  • Assess changes and risks, developing contingency plans as necessary.

Security Management

Ensure adherence to security policies and procedures, communicating them effectively when necessary.

Qualifications

Applicants should possess qualifications in an ICT-related field, ideally with experience in an operational role.
