Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Support Worker to join our team at Disability North. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting Hannah, a young adult with Autism, to live independently and achieve her goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accompany and assist Hannah in her daily activities, including outings and social events
  • Provide personal care assistance, including support with daily living tasks
  • Encourage and motivate Hannah to try new experiences and develop her independence
  • Support Hannah in using public transport and accessing local amenities
  • Work collaboratively with Hannah's family to ensure her needs are met

Requirements:

  • Experience working with individuals with Autism and/or learning difficulties
  • Ability to provide personal care assistance and support with daily living tasks
  • Flexibility to work around Hannah's routines and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid UK driving license (desirable)
