About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to join our team at Instinct Resourcing. As an Instructional Designer, you will be responsible for designing and creating high-quality learning content that engages learners and helps them achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop technical and conceptual learning content for various formats, including videos, articles, walk-throughs, and job aids.
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to gather source content and conduct review sessions.
  • Develop instructional design guidelines, standards, and templates to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Conduct learning analysis and create design documents, storyboards, and scripts to support learning objectives.
  • Design and produce course assessments to measure learning outcomes.
  • Contribute to maintaining learning content and ensuring it is up-to-date.
  • Review and improve the effectiveness of learning content with guidance from the Head of Product – Elearning.

Requirements

  • Experience working with a software development firm, SaaS provider, or technical customer education environment.
  • Computer Science degree or equivalent experience in Instructional Design.
  • Strong understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning theory.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

What We Offer

Competitive salary range of £55,000-£60,000 per annum.
