Position: Supply Chain Support Analyst - Temporary Role
This is a temporary position aimed at providing support to the Supply Chain team.
Work arrangement is hybrid, with initial on-site training required.
Standard working hours are from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
Free parking is available for employees.
Compensation is set at an hourly rate of £12.82.
Proficiency in Excel, particularly with v-lookups and pivot tables, is essential.
You will be part of a collaborative team of 8, integrated within a larger department of 20.
Prior experience in Supply Chain is not mandatory.
Role Overview: The primary objective of this role is to assist in the daily operations of the Supply Chain department, focusing on the management of stock flow for designated product categories. This includes overseeing the stock replenishment process through automated systems or manual allocations. You will contribute to forecasting stock needs and managing product flow to maintain optimal stock levels at both stores and Distribution Centres, ensuring that availability and stock targets are consistently met.
- Assist the supply chain team in setting up forecasting and replenishment processes to enhance product availability.
- Achieve inventory days targets to support the sales strategy across various channels.
- Process import and domestic orders as needed.
- Oversee order proposals generated by the forecasting and replenishment systems.
- Facilitate the input of products into the Distribution Centre (DC) for store and online sales.
- Ensure timely order placement.
- Modify orders and ensure all systems reflect accurate data.
- Document all orders that are raised, modified, shipped, and received in the DC.
- Generate reports as requested by the Stock Team regarding order management and product flow.
- Manage relationships with both international and domestic vendors to ensure compliance with established requirements.
- Provide reporting support to Supply Chain Analysts as needed.
- Assist Supply Chain Analysts with administrative tasks related to import and domestic operations.
- Evaluate and suggest improvements to internal and external processes and procedures.
- Train team members on proper procedures, processes, and documentation usage.
- Ensure accurate data entry and adherence to deadlines.
- Utilize available tools and reports to manage store replenishment effectively, including the ability to block replenishment when necessary.
