Junior Supply Chain Manager

About the role

An exciting opportunity to join a global services business to manage large product installation projects from initiation through to supply chain availability. You will be a key player in forecasting, product selection, bespoke design, and the Sales & Operational Planning process.

About the Company

We are working with a multinational company who specialise in textile, hygiene, and facility services for various industries, including hospitality, healthcare, and industrial sectors. It provides solutions such as linen rental, workwear, and floor protection, aiming to enhance cleanliness, safety, and comfort in professional environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management:

Develop and manage project plans for large product installations.

Collaborate with Commercial teams, Mobilisation Manager, Supply Chain, Suppliers, and stakeholders.

Implement a Project Progress dashboard with robust risk and issue management.

Forecast Management:

Own and improve the forecasting process for projects over 250 pieces.

Develop and manage a compliance scorecard for highlighting and costing non-conformance.

Product Selection and Bespoke Design:

Liaise with sales consultants to minimise diversification from core ranges.

Facilitate bespoke product solutions with sales, marketing, and purchasing teams.

Supply Chain and Product Board Expertise:

Become an expert in product supply chains.

Monitor service levels and optimise supplier performance.

Lead the implementation of new product introductions in the UK.

  • Project management skills.
  • Experience in Supply Chain or Commercial environments.
  • Excellent interpersonal and commercial awareness.
  • Proficient in IT, especially Excel.
  • Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities.
