Position: Supply Chain Support Analyst - Temporary Role
This is a temporary position expected to last for a duration of 3-6 months.
Work will be conducted in a hybrid model, with initial on-site training required.
Standard working hours are from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
Free parking is available for employees.
Compensation is set at an hourly rate of £12.82.
Proficiency in Excel is essential, particularly with v-lookups and pivot tables.
You will be part of a team of 8, within a larger department of 20 professionals.
Previous experience in supply chain management is not mandatory.
Role Overview: The primary objective of this role is to assist the Supply Chain department in managing the daily operations associated with the supply of designated product ranges. This includes overseeing stock flow through automated replenishment systems or manual allocations. You will play a key role in forecasting stock needs and managing product flow, ensuring that both store and Distribution Centre stock levels are maintained to meet demand and achieve stock availability targets.
- Assist the supply chain team in optimizing forecasting and replenishment processes to enhance product availability.
- Achieve inventory turnover targets to support the sales strategy across various channels.
- Process import and domestic orders as required.
- Manage order proposals generated by the forecasting and replenishment systems.
- Input product data for Distribution Centre (DC) and online platforms.
- Ensure timely order placements.
- Modify orders and maintain alignment across all systems with accurate data.
- Document all orders that are raised, modified, shipped, and received in the DC.
- Generate reports for the Stock Team regarding order management and product flow as needed.
- Oversee compliance with requirements from both international and domestic vendors.
- Provide reporting support to Supply Chain Analysts upon request.
- Assist Supply Chain Analysts with administrative tasks related to import and domestic operations.
- Evaluate and suggest improvements to existing processes and procedures.
- Train team members on proper procedures, processes, and documentation.
- Ensure accurate data entry and adherence to deadlines.
- Utilize available tools and reports to manage store replenishment effectively.
