**Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled UAV Operations Manager to join our Survey & UAV Department in London. As a key member of our team, you will oversee UAV ground and flight operations, including mission planning, execution, and briefing. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our UAVs.

**Key Responsibilities:

• Manage knowledge sharing, training, and workflows to grow the UAV strength of the business

• Lead technical operations beyond preplanned mapping missions, including cinematography, facade modeling, LIDAR, and structural inspections

• Ensure compliance with service guidance, company policies, and UK CAA regulations

• Conduct demonstrations and participate in operational and experimental ground and flight testing of assigned UAVs

• Utilize various manuals to assess factors such as aircraft condition, route, schedule, and mechanical reliability

• Collaborate with the team to develop and implement UAV operations strategies

• Provide expert advice on UAV operations and maintenance

• Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and innovations

• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders

• Participate in business development and growth initiatives

**Requirements:

• Formal survey/engineering education or relevant experience in the UAV/surveying field (BSc Degree or 3+ years site experience)

• Held a GVC or PFCO in the past for commercial UAV operation

• Ability to work hands-on with commercial UAV systems, including assembly, disassembly, testing, and troubleshooting

• Availability for traveling to work UK-wide, requiring occasional hotel stays

• End-to-end mission planning to data delivery of UAV operations experience

• Active interest in technology, innovation, and industry advancements/efficiencies

• UK/EU driving license

• Professional growth in line with department needs, supporting wider surveying as and when required

• Excellent communicator with strong report writing skills

• Time management skills

• Excellent planning and organizational skills
