Our practice fosters a culture of collaboration and continuous learning, providing monthly training sessions for our entire team to enhance skills and share knowledge. We prioritize a supportive environment where all team members can thrive.

To ensure sustainability and manage workload effectively, we have developed a robust support system, including a diverse team of administrative staff to handle various tasks such as referrals and prescriptions. Our in-house clinical support includes pharmacists, nurses, and advanced practitioners.

We leverage technology to streamline operations, including an online triage system that enhances patient access and reduces the workload on our GPs by directing patients to the appropriate services.

Main Responsibilities

The primary point of contact for patients is through our online triage system.

  1. Deliver high-quality medical services to our patient population, ensuring care is sensitive to their diverse needs.
  2. Organize and adapt services to meet the evolving needs of the community.
  3. Promote a learning culture within the practice, staying updated on policies and integrating evidence-based practices.
  4. Collaborate effectively within the primary healthcare team, fostering teamwork and leadership.
  5. Engage in quality improvement initiatives, including clinical governance and audits.
  6. Align work with the practice's objectives and goals.

Job Expectations

  1. Role Overview: The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload, addressing a wide range of health needs while maintaining high care standards.
  2. Clinical Duties: The candidate will engage in various responsibilities, including consultations, home visits, and managing prescriptions and queries.
  3. Make autonomous clinical decisions regarding patient care.
  4. Assess healthcare needs for patients with undiagnosed conditions.
  5. Document consultations accurately and in real-time.
  6. Screen patients for health risks and early illness signs.
  7. Develop patient care plans in line with practice protocols.
  8. Provide health education and issue prescriptions as necessary.
  9. Fulfill all standard duties associated with a General Practitioner.

Additional Responsibilities:

  1. Adhere to practice policies regarding prescribing, confidentiality, and health and safety.
  2. Contribute to the development of patient records and coding.
  3. Participate in audits and clinical standard evaluations.
  4. Commit to ongoing learning and professional development.
  5. Attend relevant training and events as required.

  • Recent appraisal and re-validation history
