Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled Donor Relations and Grants Coordinator to lead and motivate a dedicated team.

In this capacity, you will supervise up to six direct reports, managing significant high-value accounts while facilitating the strategic expansion and enhancement of these partnerships.

You will collaborate closely with the senior management team to ensure efficient operations and thorough evaluation of grants through comprehensive due diligence practices.

Your leadership will be essential in cultivating a cooperative atmosphere and guiding the team towards the successful execution of projects within established timelines and budgets.

Key Responsibilities

As the Donor Relations and Grants Coordinator, your duties will include:

  • Administering financial transactions for clients and managing account statements.
  • Ensuring effective and persuasive communication with clients.
  • Building and nurturing strong relationships with key associates, third-party service providers, and other stakeholders.
  • Addressing challenges and unlocking potential in both new and existing partnerships.
  • Ensuring compliance with UK charitable law and Charity Commission regulations.
  • Overseeing the vetting and documentation of new payees, contractors, and grant recipients.
  • Monitoring and evaluating project reports to ensure effective stewardship of donations.
  • Contributing strategically to the development of initiatives that enhance client satisfaction and support the ongoing success of charitable programs.

Compensation
